Shiv and Shakti

Shiva was not worshiped as god.

He was worshiped as adhiyogi ;

He was worshiped as adhiguru.

Shiv and Shakti are two forms

Of matter and energy,

Whose interaction and interchange

Bring life and action in the world.

Shiv and Shakti  evolved

From Tantra Philosophy,

As Linga and Yoni 

Similar to tongue and bell or spine and skull.

Which was shunned by Vedic movements.
