Childhood is better than old age.

I know my childhood and so I took care

Of my child first and then of my grandchild,

And paid debts due to my parents and theirs

Who did me all care, love and affection.

I know not the old age and I didn’t care

The need of my parents and their parents,

And left no debts due to me to be paid

By my children and their children in turn.
